![]() I start mixing Kalkwasser (without reactor or controller) for topping up. How slow shall I add the water to the tank? I am planning to use a turkey baster. Any suggestion? Thank you in advance.

![]() I have a 90G + sump - live rock. I guess there is still roughly around 80-90G of water. My alk is at 7 dkh, and would like to bring that up to 8+. Cal is at 400ppm. I do not have test kit for Mag.

![]() Kalk is not a good way to raise your levels. It is best suited as a drip to MAINTAIN your levels. Use baking soda to raise your alk and something like Dowflake for your Cal. This calculator will tell you how much of each you need.

![]() Arm and Hammer Baking Soda. Superstore sells the BIG 2kg box. Most other places only sell the small 500g boxes.
