![]() I've been reading about shrimp and I was wondering if they are all nocturnal or are there some species that may come out more during the daytime?

![]() Shrimp are nocturnal, however they may come out during daylight. I have cleaner, peppermint and coral banded shrimp... All hide, but on occasion you can see them in the light, but they are always scavaging during night.

![]() Is there some kind of lighting we can rig up that will not bother the shrimp, but allow us to see into the tank at night?

![]() My trio of sexy shrimp are out all day, everyday. However, they are the only shrimp I keep. I'm not sure how they would mix with other shrimp, as they could get eaten by larger shrimp.
