![]() Well that explains where my two sexy shrimp ended up. I have never seen my pistol but I sure do hear him.

![]() I think that the pistol shrimp shown in this video is not generally the kind we get in the aquarium trade.
I have a pistol goby pair in my 16g nano with a peppermint shrimp and a pom-pom crab and both are fine with the co-habitation. I think the pistol there is a much more agressive kind. Mind you, I do make sure to feed my tank and I don't want any of my critters looking like lunch anytime soon.

![]() I don't know about that, it sounded more like a gun shot sound effect then what my pistol shrimp sounds like. My pistol is noisy but it's more of a clicking/snapping sound. My pistol sort of sounds like my mantis when he's digging through rock, only louder.

![]() I think the audio during the animation was added fro dramatic effect. The true sounds are at the beginning of the clip where you hear all the popping I'm sure most of us are familar with.

![]() Oh, that makes sense. I missed the sounds at the beginning, I wasn't fast enough turning on my speakers.

![]() I had one and it sounds like a ping pong ball bouncing off the tank glass.
