![]() My tank is 35gallon and too many LPS coral -acan,favia,blasto, scoly...; mainly LPS. I try to avoid as much feeding as possible since the tank is quite small. I am wondering if they need to be fed at all????
Thanks |

![]() What I really meant is that do they need to be fed to survive.

![]() They can survive off light alone, but I noticed that mine are much more open and colourful if I feed. I only feed about once every two weeks, once a week at the most.

![]() I would target feed them once in a while, small pieces of silverside, shrimp, krill ….
You don’t have to feed them all at once, just one coral at the time. |

![]() Thanks for your response. I will try to feed them once a while.
I run my T5 light RSM for 8hrs/day. Is this sufficient for my LPS? |

![]() Hi
Do you have the max 130 or 250? It is really depending on the coral type and where it is located. Generally most LPS will do fine with 8 hours. |

![]() This is good to know... I was actually curious about the same question though I have yet to purchase any corals.
