![]() Does any one have any feed back on these float switches?
http://www.jlaquatics.com/phpstore/s...t_ID=ulf-float Do they work well? Are they fail safe? Any experience with them let me know. Also does anyone know if any one in Calgary sells them? Thanks Keith |

![]() If you go with the J&L one, a snail guard never hurts...
I did find though that prior to the most recent RKE update, I could not run them on my controller. They "burnt" out after about 3 months. However, now with the new upgrade, plus my new head unit, they all work again. |

![]() You can make that exact setup for about 10 bucks. I bought 5 of those floats for 25 bucks shipped. And a $3 extension cord from homedepot. The leads on the floats are rated for 300v, the 28 gauge wire is more then enough for the 25mA my aqualifter draws. My ATO has been running for a month or so like this. Whole setup cost less then $35, pump and reservoir included.

![]() Forgot about the snail guard, pharmacist gave me a couple unused pill bottles for free. Washed em out real good, drilled a hole in the lid to mount the float too and several in the container. Popped the lid back on, zip tied it to the eggcrate keeping any snails away from my return pump.
