Default Help! bucket of salt is now a bucket of rock

I guess there might have been an improper seal on the lid and now it super hard!

can't even grab a cup full.

anyone have any ideas on how to loosen it up?

i don't have a humidifier,

would pouring some water into it be a bad idea?

just hit it with a heavy hammer it will break up, maybe a flathead screwdriver to turn it over.

I had the same thing...I just added some water to it.....it softens up and you scoop away.
but you will have to add water to it a little bit every time.
