ID Please ...
Not sure if this is good or bad ? just started my tank begining of Jan. and have finnished cycling the first cycle. Diatoms have come and gone, green hair algae is starting to come. While cleaning my tank and checking my sump I found this little creature in my sump and am not sure what it is as I didnt put it there... not intentionally anyways ..
Is this good for my tank or bad ? what should I do with it ?

Mini brittle starfish, good detrivore.
Re the hair algae...are you keeping your lights off? Best to keep your lights off until you have some corals in there that need it. There will be lots of die off from the rock as it settles in, and this will create phosphates and nitrates that your tank needs to process, and it likes to turn into algae. Take note the Hair Algae guide in my signature.
