Clown Nibbling Anemone NORMAL? see pics
Is it normal for the clown to "nibble" on the anemone. It does not seem to be harming the nem that I can tell. My clown is very confused. I recently added a small GBTA and she has been hosting in 4 hosts - three frogspawns and occassionally the nem. She has become more aggressive at defending her territory and now has a larger territory to defend since she frequents all 4 locations. (She did lose her tankmate clown in Oct but did not seem overly stressed about it)
So is she "normal"? Anything I should do to reduce her "stress" levels?

My clowns nibble, suck and "groom" my BTAs, I don't know if this is normal but it's never seemed to hurt mine. hth

I have no idea why they do it but it's very par for the course normal..

Mine do that deliberately to move the tentacles away from the spot they intend to lay eggs.

My clowns have done the same thing in the past. I agree with everyone else, not sure how 'normal' it is but no harm seems to be done. Great job getting those pics
I've tried to get a pic of the same thing but had no success.
