![]() Hey guys,
Just got a new Cinnamon Clownfish. He is just a little guy, about an inch and a half long, so I am guessing he is still a juvenile. He is in a 30 gallon tank along with an Orange Spotted Goby, and he seems really shy. I understand it is a new tank for him, but he just sits in the very back against the wall and rarely comes to the front, eventhough there is a nice bubble tip anemone waiting for him. Is there anything I can do to help him out? I have shut most of the big pumps off for now since my tank can be fairly turbulent. Any way to get him to notice the anemone as well? thanks |

![]() maybe give him another week or two to adjust, and maybe try giving him a few more "treats" like brine shrimp or bloodworms soaked in garlic.

![]() I actually tried a picture trick with my clown and the anemone. I put a picture of a clown in an anemone on the side of the tank. He didnt got near that anemone for months, about a week after the pic went up he was hosting.

![]() The picture trick worked! I printed out 3 different pictures and put them around the tank. He would go up to them and it looked like he would study them. After the lights went out tonight, he swam up to my frogspawn and went inside for a second, then quickly swam out. 30 seconds later, he went up to the anemone and dove in and is now loving it. Thanks again!
