Default Test Kits

I've been out of reefing for about 8 months now and am getting close to getting back in. I've got a bunch of Salifert test kits that have been sitting in boxes in an open garage for the 8 months and when I went to check on them the other day the powdered substances in them were damp. Would these be considered no good anymore or should they still be safe? Thanks for your help.

My Calcium test kit has a specific warning about not getting the purple powder wet. If they were mine, I would'nt use them.

You can buy new ones and then check the old ones against them to see what survived. Thats what I would do, but you are always taking a bit of a chance with old test kits.
