Default Quietest powerheads?

In your experience with powerheads what was the quietest powerhead you have ever used? Ones that don't chatter, humm or vibrate to loud.

Thanks, Chris

I'm using a Tunze Stream 6000 and it's the quietest powerhead I've used.

Hi Chris

They are a bit expensive, however they are the quietest TUNZE. I like the variable speed models and the magnetic holders. I have 2 and a TUNZE wavebox in the 180G. I would like another one for my 125G. If you are thinking of a ProfiLux controller you can save the cost of the TUNZE controllers as the ProfiLux will control them.

I have a couple Tunze 6060s and just bought a nanostream 6045. They're all on magnet brackets and are very quiet.

Thanks Jack, Tom and Christy . I was thinking that tunze was the way to go but couldn't stomach the cost right now. Guess I will have to save up or hope to find a few decent used ones for sale.

There were a couple 6060s on here awhile ago, not sure if they're still available. Best bang for your buck (used), but they're not controllable.

Yes they are on the Island and the guy won't ship. I just told Brad about them.
