Icecap 250w

Has anyone used the new Icecap halide ballasts yet. Very nice looking. I see the 6ft. power cord but only a socket to accept Icecap pendants. Does any other require splicing it in?

I'm using two Ice Cap 250w ballasts with Lumen Max reflectors. I wired a Sunlight Supply male-female connector to the ballast so the ballast can easily be disconnected from the lights. Overall I'm very happy with the setup.

I just read a post on it. The pic showed a black quick connect, with one end going to the ballast and the other opened to accept wiring the lights. Is that what you have also?

the link above shows what I wired to the ballast. It allows me to plug in my factory pendants directly to the ballast. I wasn't crazy about cutting the factory plugs off my brand new pendants in order to wire directly the ballast. Definitely worth the couple of bucks.
