![]() so i think my ph is at 7.8 I know it's low, but not extremely low. Everything is thriving... think maybe my ph probe is giving false readings? and the stupid color chart with my ph test is so frustrating, hard to tell which color.
should I get a ph buffer? |

![]() If you can't match the colour chart and in doubt of your probe, probably should get it calibrated before adding stuff.

![]() may be try bringing in fresh air into the tank area Joel that worked for me, or like is stated that probe needs to be retested

![]() I just calibrated the probe before I got these low results. Before calibration, I was between 8.3 - 8.7, as far as the probe said anyways. Does calibration solution expire? I've had it for about a year and half. It was sealed.
I'm hooking up a CA reactor soon, and want to make sure my probe works. and that my levels are good. |

![]() Joel yes they have a exp date on them usually they are like 1-2 years after they are made. so it may be exp on the package
