![]() Do Emerald crabs tend to eat snails and invertebrates? We just bought one and now I am second guessing the purchase.

![]() well I had a bunch of snails and hermit crabs along with emerald crab and the the hermit crabs ate my snails not the emerald crab.

according to everything I have read, emerald crabs are considered reef safe.

![]() My emerald did kill a snail when we first got him.......I'm not quite sure why but he hasn't touched another one since. Funny thing with him is I won't see him for a week, sometimes two and just when I figured he off and died, he shows up just to make me happy!
