The Sharp claws mark him as a carnivore I Think.

A LFS near me had one looked like that but fist sized, ate everything it could catch, Corals, Shrimp, Other crabs.
They called him the "destroyer of worlds" Crab

good for a tank by himself like a mantis.

Or a sump.. The few that I've managed to catch, end up down there..

I've had a couple that looked like that. I agree with the "detroyer of the world" title. If your a real softie, put it in the sump. If your me & you've woken up to dissapearing zoa's, acro's & monti's with all their growth tips eaten off & fish with mysterious chunks missing from their tails, you would KILL IT!!!!!! Or, give it someone who feels the need to save it.

That baby is a sly rock crab. I could only catch mine at night when they would emerge to wreck havoc on my tank. one ate two fire shrimp in as many days when i first threw in this $50 snack! i threw them out my door
