Default playa del carmen excursions

Hey I am going to Mexico for the first time in May to the Playa area. Just looking for some adventure down there that isn't the typical "touristy" stuff.
Any "must see's" or "have to's" that anybody knows of?
Thanx, H.

I have been there twice , nothing special.
If you looking for deals on the market, just mention that you are crew member say from "Voyager of the Seas" you will get at least 15% or more discount off of the best deal. (some people managed to get 20$ Lama blankets for $5)

Cozumel (just across the water from Playa Del Carmen, about 25 min Ferry ride) has some good diving and or snorkeling tours as well as SeaDoos from hotels rentals.
we did see a turtle and some nice queen angels and also large (submarine size) green parrot fish was eating cantaloupes from my gloved hand. In fact almost all the fish will take orange cantaloupe there, i know its not natural diet but better then bread anyway.

A visit to the cenotes ("sinkholes")

The cenotes are are greatest thing there, make sure you do those. top ten on the things to see on the planet if you ask me. Hidden worlds cenotes is by far the best. Pyramid at coba is incredible too, if you can climb and arnt afraid of hights its a must.
