I hate that eh. I work at a Telus Mobility outlet and when people come into the store and talk about how beautiful the fish are, I feel compelled to tell them that the colors are not real on most of the fish. I think the blue naso tang is my favorite. I don't understand why they have to change the color of an already nicely colored fish.

Nice pics BTW. Keep em coming if you have more.

Thanks for the comments. I'll flip though my thousands of pictures and see if there are any other 'winners'. For more pics, but not all fish ones, you can check out my website at: www.pbase.com/trkeesey

I actually felt kind of mad when I saw this one! I agree...why change the colors of a gorgeous fish! Im surprised the yellow tangs are not pink...

The 'Rainy Day Yellow Tang' is actually a 2 pictures and a little photoshop work. The tang was cut out of one picture and put onto another picture. The background was a picture of the rain on a window in the Calgary airport, the colors are supersaturated on the background. The tang was then cut in half to make the picture more interesting, as the whole tang in the center was a little boring. As RonD put it, it describes the personality of most Yellow Tangs - they can't decide if they are coming or going.

It is named Rainy Day Yellow Tang because of the rain background, and also it took me a while to photochop the pictures - on a rainy west coast day.
