The first pic looks like Dictoya..its the devil. The 2nd pic I'm guessing is a type of Coraline Algae.

I would pull the dictoya. Yes, coraline can be brown.

i have a little bit of that corralline algae, but quite darker, seems to be quite slow spreading though
