Angry Involuntary water change

So I got the call around 8:00 this morning from one of my employees - water all over the carpet in my office. What a pain. Looks like my overflow got plugged up. Lost about 15 gallons onto the floor by the time I instructed my employee how to shut off the return pump. Could have been worse I guess, but still, I feel like an idiot for not checking my overflow more often...

I had a sponge in there so it would be quiet, and neglected to clean it for a couple weeks...
