Default Caulerpa going sexual on me

My lights turn on this morning and sure enough the caulerpa trapped in my birdsnest began to spew off. The tank is cloudy, should I be worried? I have ~10% water heating up for a water change (won't be ready until tomorrow morning) and i have carbon in my system. Should I be doing something else? Should I be worried?

do what they say t remove the stuff but really, unless you leave it in there to decay and causse an ammonia spike, there is no real detrimental effects other than an ugly green tank.

Thanks for the tips. My tank is crystal clear again, thank god! I have some sps that's doing quite well and I was rather worried that was going to decimate my tank.

I wish I had my camera to record the whole event..the green brown liquid was oozing out of the little sprouts and when it stop oozing, the grapes were translucent/clear..it was really a sight to see.

I'll do a water change tomorrow just to be on the safe side.
