As I was heading out for work this morning, I noticed that my water in the main tank was lightly cloudy (pretty much exactly what it looks like after adding the liquid reactor) - but the water in the sump was as clear as day...

I know I have no pictures or any test results, but everything is flowing properly, any quick thoughts on an easy answer for what might be happening, and what I can look for when I get home? Thanks! |

Sounds like it might be micro bubbles if the sump is clear. Might have an air leak in the plumbing and it's pulling in some air

Hmm, I'll have to check that. There are a fair amount of bubbles in the overflow, I'll check the return and see what's going on. Usually I thought that microbubbles would show as wee bubbles, and not just cloud the water...? Hrm. Thanks!

I also um, had a bit of an incident with one of my clip on lights last night. I do have a grounding plug in the tank, but one had a fun trip into the water... anything I should be worried about there? =/ Other than the fact that I damn near electrocuted myself? ![]() |
