![]() Can you imagine the head pressure at the bottom of that thing.. drip drip drip drip drip drip drip...
Actually I was at a public aquarium once, one that has those acrylic tubes that you can walk into their large displays and look at sharks and whatnot from underneath ... and I noticed a few of the seams had slow leaks. Remembering what happened in Sydney about 6 years ago I found a docent and told them about what I saw. She replied with, "Oh yeah, we know about that. We drain the tank(*) every now and again and resilicone and perform other maintenance." (* remember this houses sharks, it's not some wee little display!!). I was somewhat astounded.. I mean, what on earth do you say to that. "Oh" was all I could think of. I can't imagine draining my 75g for "maintenance".
