![]() Just curious if anyone new what sort of time PVC cement needs to properly cure before you can expose the pipe to your system?

![]() I don't know...but my experience is that I've done it within 5 minutes and not experienced any trouble of note.

![]() I waited 24hours. I'm just a "better to be safe, than sorry" kinda guy.

![]() The bond is instant, but letting it cure would be ideal. I personally let stuff cure open to air at least a couple hours if in a 'rush', but ideally 12-24, for safety sake, and to let any vapours/fumes etc... dissipate(although im sure that happens much quicker).

![]() Whenever I do PVC gluing or siliconing, I always leave at least 24 hours.
