Default Last Pics of my 33 before I move it!

Moving my 33 to a 50 gal shortly. These will likely be the last pics of this tank.. Been up about 19 months. Just started a little hair algea bloom and I haven't figured out what's causing it.. Ahh well.. Enjoy!

Thanks to stircrazy for taking the pics!

That's a 33?? Wow, I never realized. I had just sort of assumed it was a much bigger tank the few pictures I've seen of it.

Tell me more about the setup! I cruised on over to your webpage but it looks to be just pictures? Very nice, of course, don't get me wrong! But would like to know what you're doing for skimmer, current, lighting, etc. !

And, well, since it's all coming down anyways .... tell me about the new setup! Everything the same, just bigger? Or taking the opportunity to change anything around?

PS. And ... just to be perfectly clear here .... WOW!! Very nice!

Brad, what cap? there are 6 different ones! lol

Delphinus, here's the 33's specs:

Lighting:
-2x 175w 10k MH Bulbs
-2x 75w VHO actinics
Filtration:
-Red Sea Berlin Skimmer
-40lb assorted live rock
-3-4" deep sand bed
Water Movement:
-Various powerheads (4)
-Natural Wave wavemaker
Temperature Control:
-150w Ebo Jagger Heater
-120v AC fan in canopy

The new tank (50 gallon) will be the same set up pretty much except that it will have a 400w radium in the middle! I will run the radium 10 hrs and probably 10ks only 4-5 hrs.

Thanks for the comments!

Is that a pink millepora I spy in there? Very nice stuff.

What are the dimensions of the 50g? Somehow I don't see you getting into the standard 48x12 footprint...

Heheh 2 powders blues! sure!

Yep that's a pink mili of jamie cross descent. It's gone crazy recently. It's started new diverging branches in at last 10 spots! I've never seen such a weird growth change.

It's a standard 3'x18"x18". that is a standard 50 gallon size I beleive.
