![]() Mantis anyone. After months of kringing at evey click, and hours of work i gotem out. How can anything so colorful be such a problem. Maybe now my snails will come down from the top of the tank, and the Peppermint shrimp can eat the aptasia, in stead of disappearing/dieing.

![]() Any idea what kind of mantis it is? How big is it?
Here's a site where you might be able to identify it: http://www.ucmp.berkeley.edu/arthrop...raca/royslist/ I'd probably take it, but I'm a little too far away to pick it up... ![]() ________ Lovely Wendie99 Last edited by Flusher; 04-21-2011 at 03:05 PM. |

![]() i thought i posted a pic, i'll try again. turns out though that the clicking hasn't gone away. I either have another in there or it's my regal tang wacking his tail against the glass. ????I'm in theory mode for now.

![]() It looks like my G. smithii. Chances are, it won't get much bigger than 4" at any rate. It should do okay in a 5 gallon tank minimum.
All it needs is a cycled tank with rock to explore and to make a home in. They only need to eat a couple or a few times per week. Mine eats thawed frozen krill from a straw. It also likes hermit crabs and snails. More info here: http://reefcentral.com/forums/forumd...?s=&forumid=37 ________ Cat exercise wheel Last edited by Flusher; 04-21-2011 at 03:05 PM. |
