Mantis anyone. After months of kringing at evey click, and hours of work i gotem out. How can anything so colorful be such a problem. Maybe now my snails will come down from the top of the tank, and the Peppermint shrimp can eat the aptasia, in stead of disappearing/dieing.

Any idea what kind of mantis it is? How big is it?

Here's a site where you might be able to identify it:

I'd probably take it, but I'm a little too far away to pick it up...

i thought i posted a pic, i'll try again. turns out though that the clicking hasn't gone away. I either have another in there or it's my regal tang wacking his tail against the glass. ????I'm in theory mode for now.

I brightened it up for you a bit, I could hardly see it. Very cool by the way.

It looks like my G. smithii. Chances are, it won't get much bigger than 4" at any rate. It should do okay in a 5 gallon tank minimum.

All it needs is a cycled tank with rock to explore and to make a home in. They only need to eat a couple or a few times per week. Mine eats thawed frozen krill from a straw. It also likes hermit crabs and snails.
