I tried Marine Snow before and did not notice any difference in my tank inhabitants. I have read that it is mostly water and given the results - or lack of - I believe this. I only used it a couple of times and still have the bottle kicking around here somewhere.
It would help if you specified what you are trying to feed. Fish? Corals? If corals what type?
The best thing that you can do for your tank to maintain stability is frequent water changes and very few additives. Don't add anything to your system that you don't test for and know what your are adding and why you are adding it.
