![]() Has anyone noticed their peppermint shrimps with a batch of eggs on the belly? I have 2 like that right now.Will they hatch?Should I seperate the females from the tank so they eggs survive?Or will they just diee anyways?

![]() Great food supply for your fish and other filter feeders. Chances of actually hatching these eggs and raising baby peppers is very small and I have actually never seen anything written about it. Not to say it's not out there it's just I've never seen it.

![]() In the past, I've had peppermints & cleaners with eggs that spawned but my fish gobbled them up like candy. Even when I separated some of the babies into a 5g bbs tank, & fed rotifers & phytoplankton, the longest I ever kept them was almost 4 weeks. After several frustrating attempts, I gave up.
After that, I just let my fish feed on them. Anthony |
