Default Painting MH Pendant

Do you think it would be wise, or even possible, to paint the outside of my 175w MH pendant with high temp paint? I'm assuming it is made of aluminum, but I would like it to match my stand and tank trim.

Dont see why it would be a problem.
Hi temp paint is used for things like BBQ's and engine manifolds, both of which get alot hotter than a MH.
Since it shouldnt be in direct contact with the ater there should be no reason to worry about contanination.
