![]() hey when you mix your salt mix with your ro water.. what are all your test levels? ie, ph, calcium, hardness, sg.. and do anyoy of you have to add bufferes ontop of the salt water mix befor you add it to your tank?

![]() A good salt mix has a healthy amount of calcium, strontium, magnesium and all of that good stuff mixed in.. I think most of the companies list the approximate perameters on the side of the bag/box..

Can't even remember the last time I tested for nitrates or the other two... (at least 6 months)...I should really give this new Salifert alk/kh tester a try one of these days...got it at J&L last month [img]images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img] I do like the Salifert calcium tester tho.. very easy and accurate - Bruce |
