![]() i have a new 33gal tank setup. i have had live rock in it for 2 days. i woke up this morning and there is a ton of little white spots on my glass, they sway with the flow of the water. here is a pic. i want to know what thet and if they are normal. i also tried finding a previous thread on this but couldnt find a hit. my tank- 33gal, seio 1100, seio 820 remora, 2x96w w/lunar. fiji, vanuatu, and indanision rock. bare bottom.

![]() Probably copepods or pods for short. These little "bug" hitchhike on live rock & in live sand & are really good for your tank because they provide live food for your fish & stuff later on.

![]() Probably some kind of Copepod. Every new tank I have ever set up got them. Only is really new tanks though. If you use a lot of material from an existing tank they don't seem to show up. They soon disappear though.
