Default Medicine Hat(Southern Alberta) EST 6PM

Well was gonna go out to the lake and have a few pops and enter a fishin derby for the weekend and have some relax time. Then we get hit with massive hail storm follwed by a nice downpoar for a couple hours with funnel clouds to the East of the City. Heres a couple of pics. The hail stone on the left is broken in half, but still a nice chunk.(Sorry for the coffee spoon it was all that was handy LMAO!!!). Wasn't gonna stand around my yard long enough to have ones of those crack in the noggin!! The van thats is sunk is a street in Downtown that goes under a railway bridge. How are you all fairing in Calgary and surrounding areas?

Man, that's nasty for a place that's mostly in a desert...

It's pouring and pouring - we've got standing water on the lawns, and a small creek running down along the back fence, following the grade luckily...

But my new water dog loves it!

Wow thats some good sized hail. Wouldn't want to get beaned by that.

A friend of mine got caught in a hail storm in his brand new truck a few years ago. The hail was about that size and it gave my friends truck a golf ball look. Dimples everywhere.

Just an update,

Houses in calgary are now flooding. Braside and surrounding communities have water up to there ankles in the basements. I cant see the houses on the elbow being very dry at the moment. And with no signs of letting up alot more houses could be getting flooded.

If anyone needs a hand pumping water or laying sand bags just let me know and ill be there. I know how you feel before i moved we had a flood and it was hell.
