![]() I'd say the first pic is larvae of some sort, how long have you had the mantis? Any thing else in there with it?
The second pic looks like some sort of SW Hydra, I'd say it's bad (could be wrong though). You get hydra in FW tanks if you're over feeding. Third pic I'm not sure. Doug |

![]() The third pic is of planaria or flatworms. Luckily, it's not the red "bad" ones. Bob Fenner on Wetwebmedia wrote that these type of flatworms are not a big threat & we don't need to panic unless its the red ones. The second pic (not sure) could be a medusa worm if it's not a hydroid.

![]() It's interesting with that segmented body. The pics are nice and clear so you should be able to get a positive ID on them all.

![]() I have had the Mantis since april 15th. I just added two small peices of live rock into it yesterday. The mantis is the only live thing I bought in there. They hydra worm thing only hangs on by the tenticles and seems to be eating the 'pods.

A sixline wrasse should take care of the flat worms if your tank is not at plague proportions. If the wrasse doesn't work you could try "flat worm exit" hth

![]() According to Bob Fenner & Anthony Calfo:
Psychedelic Mandarins, Leopard Wrasses, Twist's Wrasses, Golden or Canary (Yellow Coris) Wrasses & Sleeper Gobies are potential Flatworm Predators. Unfortunately, of these species, I think only the Golden Wrasse is fairly easy to keep. I've had fairly good success with Leopard Wrasses but that's not the norm. Anthony
