Default New Tank

My tank arrived today and I picked it up. I have to say I'm disappointed, the overflow is dead smack in the middle of the back of the tank. When I had seen the 58 that inspired me to get one it had a corner overflow. I don't know what their thinking was to change it.

that sucks, although in a way as far as aquascaping goes it might be better having it in the middle.

I'm sitting here staring at it with a hammer in hand. It's getting a little nervous and is finally starting to talk.

I think they did it so you could view both ends of the tank cleanly but damn it's stupid, now I have to build the stand fairly level.

I think if I ordered one of those, I'd want the overflow in the middle. Even if I had to build the stand level!!

I wouldn't mind on a larger front to back footprint but I'm only working with 17.25" . I'm coming to except what I have and the required care in cabinet design. I've got a few ideas.
