Default Storing live rock

Good day everyone. I was just wondering if there's any particular way of storing live rock for future use.

to keep it "live", you'll need to keep it in sw at the correct temp and salinity

I would actually store it in the dark myself, prevent algae growing. Coraline will come back quickly.

I had rock in a tub for 7 months with no light. most the coraline is still on it
