![]() Gee, I'm on a roll today...
My 2 x 40w Glo-Mat electronic ballast (for supplemental actinic lighting) quit working. I opened it up and the malfunctioning ballast is basically just a built in circuit board, so I can't simply wire another one into it. I found a bare NO fluorescent ballast at Home Depot that fires 2 x 40w (T-12) lamps, but it's not electronic... Do these regular ones run really hot? They're around $20. Thought about ordering a Workhorse 5 electronic ballast, but was quoted $50 plus shipping.... Can I use the regular NO ballast wired up with my old Glo-Mat's wires/caps? ~Tamara |

![]() Thanks Mike
![]() Stan, wish I had read this before I left for Brandon today. I picked up a new ballast there, at Home Depot. Thanks anyway! ~Tamara |
