WTB: Macro Algea (Mid Island)

Still need some Macro Algea. Willing to pay for anything. I'll be in Nanaimo next Sat. if anyone there or in Parksville has some to sell or give away.

My wife is in school in Campbell river so if anyone up there or Comox has some foe sale please PM me.

Hi TommDool,

I'm sending some macro over to Nanaimo with r_Wellwood when he comes over on the 21st. I hope you can arrange for someone with a tank to hold it for you until you can pick it up. I'll send you a mix of species so hopefully something will be suitable for your system.

Or if you're ever over on the Mainland, pop by & I'll have some macro ready for harvesting.

What kind of macro do you like? Some hate caulerpa, some like it, Chaetomorpha has fans - what do you prefer?

I hear that Chaetomopha is good. I had caulerpa but I had some big hermits kill it all. I do have a very small patch of red stuff (I don't remember the name) that I got from Christy a while back that is the only thing that has lived the hermit invasion.
