![]() from what ive read you should turn off your skimmer while there are paint fumes around or the air will be sucked in the venturi.

![]() Latex is one thing, and oil base quite another. If you are painting latex, you can extend the airline on your skimmer outside, try to cover the tank if you are in the immediate area.

![]() Thanks for the sugg.`s. I`m going to be painting adjacent rooms and hallway. The wall paint is latex but the ceiling paint is oil. I`ll cover the tank completely and shut off the skimmer and try and vent the rooms as best I can, with a fan if necesary.

![]() I used 3 or 4 good coats of white Epoxy Paint. Once your done its like a nice layer of plastic inside your canopy.
