Default RO/DI flow restrictor sizing

Hi All,

I'm starting to get my tank set up again and I'm just replacing the parts for my RO system. I'm going to purchase another 75gpd membrane, but looking at my old parts, I have both a 550ml/min flow restrictor and a 400ml/min one.

I'm finding contrasting info regarding what size it should be. BRS says 550ml, but I can't find one anywhere in Canada. Some other sites say a 400 ish one will cut it.

If someone can tell me what they have on theirs, and whether one of the offerings from J&L will cut it at 500ml or 420ml so I haven't got to find one online, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you muchly,
Dunc

Duncan, if you run dual ro unit setup I think you need to run 800ml...if not, just use the 400ml will be fine. I thought jl has the 500 in stock. I might have one at home you can have but let me check first.

Thanks Rich.

JL has the 500 and 420 in stock. I'll drop in and grab a 500 when I'm over next.
