I currently have a cbb, Freckle face tang, and a few assessors. Anyone keep them long term or in pairs |

![]() I doubt your cbb will play nice they rarely do lol I tried to add a lot g nose to mine but they fought bad msybe if the tank was huge but too close in body shape mine went balistic

![]() You may get lucky too , I also tried another cbb with even worse results lol my cbb by himself was so peaceful but that chased quickly and my peaceful buddy was a instant jerky lol

![]() I had a CBB and a Pearlscale Butterfly in the same tank, and they totally ignored each. It's the Yellow Tang that caused all the trouble,... but only for a couple weeks, and then they were all friends.
I still have a Pearlscale in each of my tanks, couple of the most useful fish I have. Better than CBB's for aiptasia eradication and don't bother my corals (SPS, LPS and softies). And much easier to keep than CBB's, as they eat pretty well everything, incl grazing on algae along with my tangs. I have had mine for almost 5 years now.
