![]() I know I'm in the wrong spot for this, but i was hoping someone might have a answer for me.
I had a custom glass top build for a table I made. It was stupidly a lot of $$$$ it has metal peaces baked on the glass to have rods screw on anyway fitting the top one popped off because some pressure was put on it. im not going to name any names, but im a little chocked sending it back to have it redone, will cost me a lot more money what would you use to glue Stainless Steel to glass? its got to be clear when dry only thing i can think of is crazy glue, will this work? thanks for any help |

![]() Unless there was a clear indication of what was used originally, I'd probably either pay them, or at least ask them, since you did spend so much money there already. If you use the wrong product, it actually sticks, but looks like crap, how do you get it apart again?

![]() I will ask tomorrow
but its a glue thats baked on the glass, and the glass is 40" across so probably going to have to do 2 round trips to calgary i might try gluing a SS washer to a peace of glass an see how it turns out i really wanted this in place on saturday for the new house the sooner i finish getting the house the way we want it the sooner I can start my tank |

![]() Try the adhesive for automotive rear view mirror mounting. You should be able to get it at any decent auto parts shop. It makes a pretty strong bond between the metal mirror base and the windshield and is clear.
