![]() i have some type of worm. i think its a bobbit worm. its red and sleek with even sections and a yellowish bar just behind the head and 4-5 long antena.
cant get a pic as it only comes out every so aften but took the live rock it is living in and put it in and empty bucket. any ideas how to kill it get it out |

![]() You can buy a worm trap. Just put a piece of food inside, and when it crawls in it cant get back out. Just put it in before lights go out and leave it overnight. Odds are in the morning you will have some creatures crawling around inside

![]() That's bad news (if its a bobbit). Typical worm trap won't work since they are drop dead clever. There's a hugeeeee thread in RC about how a person caught it. You should start searching for it. Best of luck

![]() If you know the hole he is in, I have heard of someone pouring soda water into it and the worm wriggles out because of the CO2.
Don't count on him being dead after the rock is out of the water for a day, that hole he's in might just hold a bit of water. |

![]() I kept those in my tanks for years. Harmless unless really large. In fact, even some of the bigger ones are vegetarian.

![]() I have used a coral dip with good luck getting things to crawl out on their own
I think it's melafix that I have used most worms have just crawled right out |
