![]() Hi All,
Just re-did my return plumbing over the back of my tank to permit me to have a herbie overflow. I have 3 feet of head pressure on a brand new Waveline DC-4000 pump that's plumbed with 1" all the way from the pump up and over the back of the tank. It then Tee's off to either side of the tank. In each back corner the 1" is reduced to 3/4" by way of a 90 degree PVC reducer. A 3/4" Loc-line fitting is threaded in, and a Loc-line Y is on there an then it goes out to 3/4" round Loc-line nozzles I'm getting rather poor flow. Should I switch them out to 4x 3" wide flare nozzles (stick with 3/4" diameter)? Or should I go down to 4x smaller Loc-line Nozzles? Thanks for any insight Cheers. |
