Yup, I used the yellow ones.

I had seen them in a few builds on Reef Central totm's and thats why I went looking for them. Much less flex than acrylic dowel.

I was worried about it too. People on RC assured me they wouldn't. Its been 18 months and I've seen no adverse affects, not to say I won't in 5 years ... all speculation at this point haha

A shot from today. Shot from the right side of the tank. I like this photo because you can just see the tops of all my colonies pushed together … I love the contrast of colours looking from end to end in my tank
