I gotta go against this thought. I believe that if you treat every new incoming piece, you can avoid them. I go one step further and inspect every new frag under a microscope, but I do not have them back and I'm sure I never will.

Unless you have Acros in your tank, they should die off in short order from lack of food/shelter.
