We live 2 blocks from Fish Creek and have had deer and a bear in front of the house. |

![]() We've had coyotes in the alleyway for the last few winters now. They get pretty close when you have a dog with you.

![]() I think it's likely the other way around. Porcupine's go out of their way to avoid trouble, but they do have a rather effective defensive mechanism!
