![]() I found this molt in my tank. I discribed it to a friend over the phone, and he said it sounds like a gorilla crab, and will be a fish-eater. Is that what it is? You can see from teh one pic that it's not very big right now.

![]() Catch it and toss it into your sump, or kill it. Crabs with claws like that are generally not considered reef safe. Still a pretty cool find though.

![]() Or catch him and if you dont want him at all...I will take him......I have an aquarium set up for just all things bad.....its quite the tank......and im in Edmonton this weekend for the boat show.....let me know..

![]() Doesn't look like a Gorilla crab to me. I agree that you should try to catch it. Make a trap.

![]() Gorilla Crabs are very hairy....so I would say to the sump with him....I had one similar looking to that and it ate a 4" powder blue overnight!!
