this is kinda off topic But i'm in the planing stages of setting up a 120g and i was wondering about the back of the tank, paint it? and if so black blue???

I painted mine with Krylon Fusion - Navy.

Is "fusion" the name of the color? I'm thinking about that for mine.

I have a bit left over, you can get it for about $5 at Walmart....

Cool, I'm nervous about painting the tank though, its so perminant.

It's not too bad to scrape paint off. Make the surface a little bit wet and use a razor blade. At least that's what I did with one of my tanks, I bought it used and the sides and back were painted blue. The back was OK blue but the sides I wanted clear. Anyhow in my case it wasn't too bad.

If you don't like it, you can use Laquire thinner. It will wipe right off. We use it all the time at work.

I would be nervous to paint my tank as well. But at the same time, choose a wise color, make sure you like it.. paint it. After so long, the backround is the last thing your paying attention to anyways.
