New tank finally started - Update

Well here it is. After a bad start, having to drain and make up new water, the new tank is running and the move was done today.

Specs:

-24w X 16d X 18h
-Starpire glass all 4 sides
-Build in 1 1/2" overflow w/durso
-Eurobracing
-250w PFO HQI ballast
-XM20k bulb
-2x120mm - 110cfm each -- these will be changed already as they are noisy.
-AquaC 150 Skimmer
-Mag 5 - return

And now for the pics.

I tested it out with fresh water first

Won't those metal hose clamps on the lines in your sump rust and leach ugly evilness into your water???

Looks great otherwise. Nice clean setup.

stainless?

use those on the boat i work on, exposed to salt water 24 hours a day and dont rust.

not sure what will happen inside a warmer, more humid setting though.

Thanks, I thought about that, it didn't worry me to much as they are never directly in the water. I had some of the plastic ones simular to ones on the web site listed below, but, they are a pain to get off if you need to get a pump out for cleaning....

A zap strap can do in a pinch to tighten up a vinyl hose over a hose barb...

Here are a few updates. I have not moved anything yet, so it's a bit of a mess. I'm also trying to get a good picture with this very blue light..

Looking Good! A clown goby, or a bi-colour blenny would love it in there - so many places to perch!
