I'm not doubting it, just curious to the facts. I live 8 hours from the closest LFS and hobbiests and take bags full of corals monthly with me. If there is a way to improve the shipping process, I want to know about it lol

Every time I've had fish or coral shipped to me it comes with a few grains of carbon in the bag so it must do some good Not just from canada corals but other retailers do it as well.
