![]() I'm finally going to start piping in my sump tonight. The question i have is what is the best size of pvc tubing to use? To put it another way, would using 1" tubing be better or worse than using say 3/4" tubing? Please send me your thoughts and or experiences.

![]() The size of your piping all depends on the size of your pump.
If you provide more information we could help you... 1. Tank size 2. What pump your using for return. 3. Distance for return. Your overflow line(s) need to be able to handle more flow than the pump can output. Otherwise you get a flood. |
